The "sound of ITV1" is what gets on my nerves. There's something about it which just screams "shít" to me... probably because everything I see after hearing it IS shít...
I still don't understand why itv are fannying about with an identity package that nobody gives a crap about. And as for what it all means; who knows? Come on itv pull yourself together and stop arsing about.

Not sure of that, but the logo is the same size as on the original January 2006 set of idents.
Don't understand all the hate with ITV's presentation atm, its a zillion times better than the horrible blocks one they had from 2002 onwards. I do agree that the music is a bit drony(Is that a word?) tho. Also at least ITV have different ident styles on every channel rather than coping out and having the same on 2/3/4
I think this new set is pretty good. The logo looks much better bigger rather than being hidden in the corner, although they need to update the older set to incorporate this. Its good how the music is remixed on some of them, the bubbles one especially.
Wish they would at least have the name of the region showing all the time under the logo but thats a pipe dream
Really? I think it looks a lot better now, after idents are supposed to show you the channel your watching, not just show you pretty pictures with a voiceover. How did you manage back when idents were just based around the companies logo only?
