Verdict: New ITV1 Idents

So making a new more specific forum for ITV1 Idents and Presentation;

what are your opinions on the new editions to the set?

Also, I agree to music is too weak but is it only me who actually likes the ITV1 theme music.

I love the concept but that logo is ridiculously huge. The ITV music is very catchy and is instantly recognisable as "the sound" of ITV.

I don't think the logo is unsuitable. I think it works well in the idents the size it is, but there's no consistency with the older idents because its smaller in them. For that reason only, I've voted 'Good'.

Does anyone have clips of them, for the lucky one's outside ITV1 land?

Where has your dyslexia gone? I read that post with no effort!

There was a time when I'd have had caps of these put up quickly...

.... then I moved to an area of the country where the ITV DTT mux is practically non-receivable. It's good to see that they are generally sticking with this branding for the channel though. True it may not be fantastic, but the channel-5-style frequency of changing we had between 2002-2005 was getting a bit tiring.

The music sounds better than the mind-numbing mix used on the other idents, and the visuals are quite nice too. I like it.

Now all they have to do is sort out the programmes and slap an LWT logo on it, and you're done!

Great music, I think its most probably now known as the ITV1 theme, its very simple and repetitive but sticks in your head.
