Why has this show been made primetime again? Perhaps it might have worked for me if they'd put a studio back in it and had Harry Hill do some comedy on-screen, but although I love Harry Hill i think this format is much suited to the afternoon/early evening slot that it's had for the last few series.

Is the show getting decent figures in primetime?

I for one think the shows improved a lot since they've made it this way. It means that they don't have to bother with studio, an audience and Harry can actually make jokes about the clips that Jeremy, Lisa and Jonathan could not do as they were most probably added later.

I assumed it was only in primetime on a more temporary basis, as once the autumn programmes start like Saturday Night Takeaway, it will probabaly be back at 5.30pm again. Id imagine the autumn schedule will look something like that

5.30pm YBF
6.00pm X Factor
7.15 Takeaway
8.15 WWTBAM
9.15 X Factor Results
9.45 Parkinson

i don't know why they don't just dump it completely, i mean there is only so many times a granny falling into a cake can be funny.

even with the newer shows some clips have a timestamp 10-15 years old.

although this may be due to the fact that in recent years it was apparent many of the clips were setups - simply because of extraordinary circumstances some of the accidents happened.

i stopped watching it long ago, actually i stopped watching itv1 long ago so this decision doesn't actually effect me.

It appears to be nothing more than a schedule filler so ITV can put out The X Factor against Maria, and then put out another programme at 9.25pm as Casualty ends!

I don't think anybody actually sits down to watch YBF!

It's more of a case of, you leave the tv on, it comes on, you see a few clips, a baby falls over, you laugh a bit, watch a few more etc

That'll be why it still does really well in the ratings all these years later

Of course now Harry Hill is doing sarcastic links it's got a new lease of life after the Jonathan 'I haven't got a catchphrase' Wilkes era

I used to watch it more often when it had a presenter in a studio, now its a bit rubbish really.

The early version with Jeremy Beadle presenting it was my favourite and I always remember the part where he would play a tape that would embarrass a member of the audience before giving out prizes.

Not really bad that for an ITV schedule.

I think Afterlife is also returning on Saturday nights.

Last year it was a programme too many, resulting in The X Factor being on too early and Parkinson being on too late!

I think they should show Takeaway in an earlier slot of about 6pm as X Factor is much better suited to a 7pm slot.
