Ooh Jack Whitehall. He'd be great. He'd attract a younger audience. Jimmy Carr, no thanks. Bradley Walsh, no thanks. Brydon, maybe.
For some reason, I can imagine ITV doing something silly and getting someone like Anton du Beke to host. He reminds me of Forsyth.
Jeremy Paxman?
Is there a particular reason you'd prefer Jeremy Paxman over Bradley Walsh, for example? Bradley Walsh seems like the ideal candidate on paper - he's likeable, he can get laughs, he wouldn't overshadow the acts, and he's a professional. Jeremy Paxman is divisive, has done no light entertainment work that I can think of, wouldn't be someone I imagine introducing every act as if he liked them, and has little to no experience with anything but serious presenting.
ITV would never pick Anton du Beke for a variety of reasons; Jack Whitehall isn't an ITV face, so would be very unlikely - same with Rob Brydon (though he'd be someone I would enjoy).
