How old were you during the 1980s? All I can remember is daily doses of Blockbusters and Fun House.

I remember School Programmes on ITV1 in the 1980s, and when they moved to C4 in 1987.

I was 3 in 1988, But I have informed what was shown at that time,

like from Tv ark, Ie there moved the Schools to Ch4 to give ITV morning slot to

: the time the place and Thsi morning

I remember Blockbusters - it was one of my favourite gameshows when I was a kid. I used to play the theme tune on the piano.

I don't know what to make of Vanessa because you are greeted with this plump dyed blonde woman who you think is going to annoy the pants off you then she opens her mouth, rambles for England and actually talks a lot of sense.

I like Vanessa, I really do. She needs something to do. Other than this she only ever seems to be on Big Brother and I'm A Celebrity spin-offs.

ITV's daytime schedule is dire though. I don't know why they made a big deal about relaunching the daytime schedule last year, only to drop the brand and the schedule this year.

Okay, so having the 'ITV Day' brand was stupid, but the actual schedule wasn't that bad.

And they should never have moved. Look what C4 has done to them now.

i wonder whether it will be more successful than Carol Smile's Peoples Court. I bet it will last 1 series max and itv will axe it.

Took me a while to master it but then I realised you play it in A minor first then in C major for the second phrase.

Bring back Blockbusters! And not on Sky One or BBC2 crappy versions - a good version! Worked for Bullseye.

how about a modern/retro schedule - along the lines of....

0930 Supermaket Sweep, Temptation (new version of Sale of the Century - based upon the Australian version), Jeopardy, Keynotes, Winner Takes All

sorry but i cant see citv being on after 4. probs back to 3-4 agen if it gos back to a measly hour rest of the schedule isnt bad but cud benefit from more fresh, brand new programs.

I liked them on C4 when it was " ITV Schools on C4 " but they should never have let C4 take total control of them.

They cant extend GMTV by as from 9.25am onwards is ITV's airtime not GMTV's.

I really think its unlikely that ITV will show Shortland Street - they didnt want it in 2002 when Carlton dropped it so I doubt they want it now.
