UTV's Favourite Hymns probs

Well while we're pointing these out, a few nights ago UTV were showing the 'Back Soon' caption, then into the ITV News Summary (wrong ratio) and out of that went to a slide I assume generated at ITN saying the next news would be at 04:28:30 (or whatever). ITV1 started into their film. I kept flicking back for a few mins to see when they crashed into the film but it never happened! God knows when someone finally realised.

Thinking about UTV announcers - the company have not recruited any new announcers since 1997.

And in that time, how many announcers have joined BBC NI?

My favourite is Robin Taylor as well, he makes an effort to describe the programmes and likes to throw in the odd bit of French (language) sometime.

btw, Is that ex-UTV CA and now Channel 4 CA Tracey Anne Griffiths doing the voiceover on those new UTV Internet ads? Saw the other one with the guy out of "Pulling Moves" outside City Hall.

Oh yes, and Aidan Browne popped up in-vision before and after Emmerdale, shame it was to read out the Watch to Win question, then straight into the UTV ident.

Only Julian and Robin ever seem to use the Watch to Win links to make proper IVC announcements after reading out the question.
