Shocked

Your post is the first time I've ever even heard of that at all (irrespective of it being an ITV thing or not). Clearly, it's a well publicised service...

Well, that's because it's not a channel, but rather a series of programmes about ASL (American Sign Language, apparently the world standard. No one told me this, and I live there!) for kids.

ASL isn't a world standard. The only bit about ASL I can see is in the description on Google - perhaps you're seeing a US version of the site?

ASL and BSL are completely different languages. They're not mutually intelligible, and (to those who don't know) they bear no relation to English. The word order in BSL has more in common with Japanese than with English.

I'm not sure it has asked that since it became the ITV Hub?

You have to sign up to watch any on-demand video and part of the registration form asks for a postcode.

If you try to watch ITV it pops up a "Sorry" caption and redirects you to UTV Player.

The news page hasn't added Northern Ireland as a region either.

Hopefully the changes to integrate both services and have them as one happens sooner rather than later.

Not ANY on demand video. Just the main channel, I think. CITV certainly doesn't need you to log in.

That's an odd one. Surely if they wouldn't spend money on this, it would be straight to ITV.

Though I do note the logo seems designed to allow "Ireland" fit in just like it does on the current UTV Ireland logo, so presumably it will change too.

Edit: the logo itself seems to have been removed from that article. The one displayed was similar to the UTV Ireland logo, but all in cyan, the "Ireland" missing, and the "TV" replaced with the lowercase tv from the ITV logo.

And hello generic ITV News look.

Quote:
The UTV Live News identity will also be updated in keeping with the ITV News network - both the UTV channel logo and news will have new colour schemes

Not keen on the colour but a long overdue refresh. Will be interesting to see how it fits with the very square ITV News branding.
