UTV replaced on satellite by Scottish

Presumabley there is some sort of problem with the feed from Belfast to London so they're chucking up London as a backup..... better that than nothing at all

You have to wonder whether UTV would be better off being run by London/Leeds, bearing in mind the various posts over the last year, about their technical standards.

Even Central seems to have settled down at Leeds, after early teething problems, unless someone knows otherwise.

settled down in as much as providing a service with a few problems a month - compared with the faultless service central tx provided us with for years.

Sorry, to clarify, it was definitely on DSat. Can't say about Analogue or DTT.

No, they'd be much better off being competently run from Belfast.

Isnt Birmingham the likelist for a Northern Transmission centre, afterall it is the second city, and looks like had more up to date stuff than of that of Leeds. Will Leeds be kitted out with new stuff soon?

I must be watching at the wrong times then !

I certainly haven't noticed anything being posted about any Central TX problems lately, not since the move !
