ITV logo on the break bumpers going in and out of the film on UTV tonight. UTV still gets namechecked in the car sponsorship ads though.
It's not actually the break bumpers but the Back Soon/Welcome Back graphics that are ITV-branded. Just a minor playout blunder I'd say. UTV-branded versions were in use very recently. What's more curious is that the UTV break bumpers are just the usual versions rather than the festive versions used on network ITV.
Just watching The Hobbit this evening on UTV and indeed the Back Soon/We're Back are ITV branded - however there was a festive UTV bumper before the trailers and Toyota sponsorship.

The festive break bumpers must only have appeared in the last day or two. Tis a bit careless of them to repeatedly let the ITV-branded Back Soon/We're Back boards go out on UTV.

Presume there’s no Santa-tracking IVC with Julian tonight? There was last year despite the rebrand.
All of that is because ITV is purposefully winding down UTV slowly to the point where it will just be ITV channel listing and the regional news will be labeled as ITV News NI.
I love it when things like the Santa updates continue on UTV, because it completely rubbishes all the stuff about how ITV are evil, want to kill UTV off as soon as possible and don't care about regional telly. As many have said before me, today's ITV is very different and does seem to care (to an extent obviously!).

If they cared, don't you think that they would start using the regional output names again?

A company that delivers six minutes of non-news regional content per week to viewers in England cannot be said to 'care' about this element of public service broadcasting, can it really?
They do what they have to and no more. Which is fair enough, they're there to make money not serve.
