Nice endboard on the new Primeval promo:

Not too sure on that version of the logo though! It seems to be appearing on the new promos at the minute, namely Echo Beach and Moving Wallpaper and now Primeval.

Why do they simply paper over the ITV1 logo? Why not make a second copy of the trailer? Look, you can see the ITV1 logo's reflection.

Just spotted a Happy New Year to U breakbumper during the first break of Gerry Kelly's New Year's Eve Party... yes, I am watching it.

Well, for once, the UTV party got the stroke of midnight spot on.

And Julian has just done his usual New Year's greeting giving the technical staff a mention "on behalf of UTV plc" - get him!

Where is this BAN-bridge place Julian mentions in the Watch2Win trailers?

Really good to see Marc doing invision announcing today on UTV - let's hope its going to be a regular thing and not just left to Julian!

Marc also did IVC into The Flintstones. I'm not sure if this is a one-off for today as there's no local news, and that whoever is on duty later also gets a chance to do IVC.

I hope Marc's commitments at CityBeat won't restrict his chances to do more continuity work - although I believe their new studios are over the road from UTV's. On a similar note, is former UTV announcer Bill Smith still a newsreader at CityBeat?

I gather Marc has left Citybeat and is now fulltime with UTV.

Anyone spot the quality new "all about U" promo doing the rounds - basically a mix of the trailers for UTV Life and UTV Live mixed with helicopter shots and other bits and pieces promoing their local programme 'portfolio'

Still, a very very sneaky drop in for UTV Internet, something I seem to remember them getting told off before about.
