So has Big Blue been officially decommisioned then?

I reckon that background would be a perfect backdrop for an on-screen clock - never gonna happen, but just sayin'.

Just wondering if we know what has happened to Julian?? Haven't seen him for ages - hope he hasn't 'left' ????

I heard that Julian was in hospital recently. Not sure if he still is. No other information.

In other news, the Udent campaign has officially finished and today UTV have added a few new seasonal idents to the set. I've so far noticed a U harvest one and strangely one which doesn't have anything after the U! It's just U nothing and then the logo comes in. They obviously couldn't think of anything to place over footage of the sunset in Portstewart!

Well done UTV, sure just you make up your own names for TV programmes!

Yes that one is rather hideous, I've no idea why they chose to have a blue background with a yellow logo animation. To be fair, they normally do look better than that! Here's a better one:

It's almost as if someone forgot about blur and transparency, the background is too distracting and the fonts don't help.

Why would it be called That Saturday Night Show when it airs on Sunday nights?
