Seems UTV have now got themselves a DOG!

They already have plenty...

I'm sure it won't last.

EDIT: Surely UTV could have done better with "revamping" the idents? The ITV1 promo window thing already looks dated, ditto their jingle music. But I like the reflection of the video at the bottom of the ident, and at least it looks like the same font is used for the location descriptions on each ident.

Did you mean the news update? That's Julian on the Emmerdale ECP!

Usually Gillian and Julian share announcing duties on a Monday night, Julian introduces Emmerdale and Corrie in-vision and Gillian does the rest. She's maybe off on her end of term break though because she wasn't working tonight. Marc only voiced the news update and presented the late news tonight, Julian did everything else.

Not sure about the idents, they should break away from the ITV Promo endboards IMO. But liking UTV Live's graphics, and the DOG is unintrusive although they don't really need one.

I don't really mind the DOG, I can't be arsed watching yorkshire anymore, so I tend to watch UTV a lot, I think the refresh has been pretty good.

Is the UTV DOG already history? It didn't appear during tonight's UTV Live.

I was capturing for TVUK earlier and it certainly was there.
