UTV is Part of U

They haven't had credits on any in-house programming since 1993, other than the very, very, odd show for the network (which hasn't been in many years now). Not sure why. I guess its similar to end-credits falling out a favour for sports programmes.

UTV signed the contract for their Republic of Ireland service with the BAI today, the tougher work of negotiating carriage and EPG placements with Sky and UPC now begins....

For non UTV viewers would just like to share the absolutely shocking picture quality of the friday evening sow "the magazine". Cannot believe this is being broadcast in 2014 where HD is very widely available , the show has been like this since launch.

Is UTV also using the ITV daytime promo, which ITV and STV are broadcasting.

They have started to use it today but it is just the footage of the shows and the music no text.

Probably not a surprise, but UTV Ireland have announced that they will be using in-vision continuity. Of course, TG4 have also done so throughout their life, so they're not quite the only station still doing it.

Do you think we're set for a new look UTV Live soon? Looking back, I can't believe it's already been 5 years since the last refresh (doesn't seem like long). In the past they've seemed to bring out a new look every 4/5 years.

Didn't it get a refresh when the DOG was moved to 16:9 safe?

Does anyone have any UTV Live music or is it library? Nobody answered whether it was or not in my request. Thanks.
