There'll be a weather forecast during This Morning also, in the break for the ITN mid-morning update which UTV Ireland won't be taking.

Any ideas as to whether the competitions run by the likes of This Morning, Lorraine etc will become open to UTV Ireland viewers?

All nicely shot, I suspect that drone was also flown over parts of Northern Ireland and UTV will get similar idents to tie everything in.

The promo loop has been updated, although there are no new idents in the loop, there's often a voiceover saying 'UTV Ireland, 9 days to go!' and a brief glimpse of how the promo endboards look, (they've advertised Saturday Night Takeaway and Graham Norton so far) and it's different than UTV.

The short programme trails are voiced by Cool FM DJ Paul Kennedy.

And of course, for some time now, they've had John Kearns (also from Cool FM) voicing all of UTV's programme trails.

I wonder how the ITV programmes will be fed to UTV Ireland? Will they be clean fed direct from London (as is the case for STV and UTV NI), or will this feed pass through Belfast, facilitating shared programming with the North?

While the in vision announcer for UTV I will be in Dublin, the playout will be from Belfast. UTV built a new playout suite earlier this year for both channels. They'll use the same ITV network feed.

It's the Westcountry TV using HTV Cardiff initial pres arrangement all over again then ?
