Do UTV Ireland have Irish rights for showing Star in Their Eyes with Harry Hill next month or will it be shown on TV3?

I'd imagine it's UTV as it's presumably an ITV Production.

It's Endemol.

TBC then I guess. Can't think of any other Endemol productions on ITV off the top of my head which might indicate where it would go.

Even though it's a shadow of it's former self it's surprising TV3 haven't gone for Big Brother considering C5 isn't officially available in the ROI and it would be easy filler for 3e.

Do we know whether Stars in their Eyes will be on Saturdays or Sundays. I'm guessing it'll be on one night and Get your Act Together on the other.

They did I believe and couldn't do a deal. Not sure why. BB was massive over here in its C4 days and an Irish contestant was often present. Now most Irish people don't know that it's still running.

Soccer Aid, Your Face Sounds Familiar and Golden Balls are the only ITV shows listed on Wikipedia's Endemol UK page. But the latter two were axed (YFSF because it was too similar to Stars in their Eyes) and Soccer Aid only happens once every two years, so it'll be a while yet before we know which Irish channel will show the next one in 2016.

Looking on the Endemol UK website the only major ITV show I can see is Benidorm (looks like Endemol now own Tiger Aspect). I suspect though with Endemol being such a large cross channel producer with many long running shows that deals are done more on a show by show basis.

More of the TV3 schedule has appeared, they are in fact showing Broadchurch the same night as ITV abeit an hour later. Their schedule is very game-show/reality dependant (Nothing to Declare Australia at 7pm???) although they have a new soap called Red Rock. They are showing repeats of Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway in Saturday primetime.

Guess it's a glimpse into what ITV would look like without the soaps!

I thought they might strip Come Dine with Me Ireland at 7pm (it used to air at 6.30pm) but wondering if they've lost that too considering it's an ITV production (or ITV format at least). Surely though UTV have only won the rights to British content from ITV, anything they make for or licence too TV3 would surely remain with TV3.

Looks like then they're stripping Aussie docusoap Nothing to Declare at 7pm and gameshow The Lie at 7.30pm. I'd probably have switched them round myself.

Red Rock airs Wednesday and Thursday at 8.30pm - about the only soap free slots available I guess.

Has been since IMG sold it to Endemol in 2009!

There is a new short promo video for Ireland Live at Ten on UTV Ireland as I seen it on Saorview just now.

What appears to be the channel idents are running on the promo loop - same general "scenery' idea and same soundtrack as UTV NI but the logo in the bottom left hand corner instead of the centre.
