That Ireland Live logo... Jesus wept. Then again, it is UTV, the poor university student they employ for everything must be overworked making up all those basic logos, graphics and titles for all their home grown shows. Maybe for Christmas 2015 they'll upgrade his computer to one with Windows XP on it and he can really let loose.
I think the choice of words is interesting "not currently available" rather than "not available".
Given the amount of content from ITV they have and that the majority of Competitons are run and managed by one firm, I can see there being something in the near future.
What will probably happen is that they will run their own competitions on the station. It's a good money spinner and I can't see them leaving this situation go on for too long.
Like the set. Very ITV News. Wonder if the same set and similar graphics will turn up at Havoc House in the not-too-distant future? The current set is touching on six years old now...
The show is getting a generally positive response on Twitter, a lot of praise for Alison Comyn and the number of live inserts.
EDIT: The weather graphics are *much* better than their Nordie counterparts.
