Nice cock-up there in to HARTBEAT. Ident with dull v/o followed by a 20 second VT clock for HARTBEAT, a UTV slide and then the programme. Did this happen on the network too, or just good old UTV? Do they now have a clean feed of all programmes?

Laughing I should work for ITV's graphics dept!

I wouldn't be surprised if Tony did turn up on Heartbeat.... everyone else has.

Bless, well at least we've seen evidence of a clean feed... and it seemed to be in use on Friday during the end credits on Emmerdale and Corrie... (though why I was watching this, I'm not quite sure.... eeeehhhneeway.....) Rolling Eyes

We had a VT Clock for a second that was at :20, then it went a few seconds into the Opening Titles of the programme, then a black pause and back to the programme.

Sounds like they've got an all-new clean feed and they're struggling to get used to it. Either that or they're just crap - I'll let those of you who watch/suffer UTV more than me be the judge of that.

Why didn't they let Aidan be more spontaneous than saying:

"The Brief is on your screens in 60 minutes here on UTV, that's coming up after Heartbeat..."

Is it just me or does Aidan Browne use that phrase over every continuity link when he's on duty?

You are right. He has used the phrase "on your screens" on every link I have ever heard from him.

Is it Monday or is it Wednesday?

According to a UTV trailer before "Building the Dream", Bad Girls and Shane are on "tonight".

Bad Girls and Shane are definatelty on tonight, it's due to the Soap Awards on Wednesday so it's been moved to Monday.

A network problem, not UTV's.

Both programmes have moved and are now on Mondays for this week and next week at least. Not seen listings for the weeks after yet.

For once, UTV giving correct information, someone go and let fireworks off!
