UTV Cock up

Do UTV ever get it right on the opt out at the start of the ITV news tonight Gillian Porter did her bit which went something like this .

And the top stories on UTV live - Irish Football - and then she was cut off as we opted back into the ITV News titles .

Every time i watch UTV on SKY they always seem to have some cockup .

Let's face it, this topic could be given over a whole FORUM of its own, never mind just a thread.

A tatty station and poor representation of Northern Ireland.

It's such a shame if they only made more of an effort especially with their continuity even pre recording something on mini disk for daytime would be better than nothing .

Watch out Scottish as UTV haver their sites firmly set on buying Scottish Television.

They said they had decided against making a bid. How easy is it to say that?

I decided I wouldn't climb Everest today - like UTV's "ambitious take-over coup", I never had any intention either.

Thank god for that i can't imagine haven't to watch that IVC announcer every weekend that would just be to much.His patter is ok for a couple of links then it becomes a bit of a bore wouldn't be bad if he was even nice looking i could be tempted to put up with it .

When not lazy, I invariably watch one of the other regions. Some of those Friday night programmes on other regions from about 11.30 .... enough to make a guy .....

They managed to cock-up the aspect ratio of their Weather Forecast earlier today. Instead of being widescreen 16:9, it was pillar-boxed 14:9.

Well, there is a thread on here about NITV already...

I notice there was no warning before last night's Footballer's Wives about strong language - you know how Gillian loves to tell the viewers that there may be-e-e some strung-g-g lang-widge.

Would OFCOM take action if anyone reported that?
