No idea why they are drafting in Eamonn to present. Surely there are plenty of UTV presenters that could present... The one and only Julian, of course!

You don't understand the logic in having a national TV star that cut his teeth at UTV and worked there for the first seven years of his career narrate a prime time tribute to the studios?

How was that similar?

The Magic Box was a live broadcast and a co-production/simulcast between the BBC and UTV.

You can't compare that to what will be a pre-recorded documentary.

Well that's a matter of opinion. I really enjoyed it and I thought it was a nice touch. I obviously didn't expect as much as you were expecting from it.

They didn't but he does appear in vision during his bits with the previous UTV logo.

Indeed, reliving a tale, in hilarious Julian style, when he swallowed a fly live on air. Superb.

Any idea how to search for the programme using the app? I wanted to watch it on my TV, but even when selecting BTxx xxx as my region, the programme doesn’t come up when searching by name.
