Sorry to hear that Asa, I doubt anyone would want to impersonate me anyway.
Your best bet is an IRC room, however this would involve everyone downloading mIRC, or something similar, I am already 100% experienced in mIRC, but it is not the easiest of programs to use, so for a lot of people that is a no no, and even then you have to be a special user (i.e. like me) to be able to register your name.
To be honest, there is actually not a single chatroom I have ever seen/heard about that would be Java operated and allow member names.
As Java goes via IP addresses, so basically the best thing would just be to put it back.
I know that the Addicted Chatroom at SOTCAA has recently gained password and user access, whilst being in Java, however, I think it has been specially programmed to do so, so unless you wanted to spend a while working on the chatroom, there isn't much you can do.
Unless, people wanted to use Netmeeting?
