Just flicked on to BBC1 at 11:10 this morning... but no broadcast from Rome, instead Songs of Praise in its place. What's up? Also, the feed isn't on News Multiscreen... where the BBC think the Pope will 'oversea' the service.

Oh dear.

Yes, the service was only 15 minutes long for some reason... probably due to the Pope's poor health. So Songs of Praise was brought in to fill the 25 minutes.

The Pope is still unable to speak and his normal Easter blessing was done by someone else.

Managed to catch the last couple of minutes of the message from the Pope's aide.The Pope was looking very sick, and it seemed like he had been elevated up to be able to look out of the window, in order to see the crowds. He was lowered from the window and curtains closed. He looked awful in my opinion.
