UPDATED EPG reshuffle

Update of reshuffle below

Apparently something could be happening w/c 16th January - not totally sure how true this info is though.

I've learnt when it comes to Sky EPG and EPG software changes, they could happen at any time other than when they're rumoured to be happening.

Sky Movies 10 launching soon - Sky Cinema 1 and 2 moving to accomodate - one imagines it will be around the time of this new channel launching

Finally, news of the upcoming EPG reshuffle. Media 24/7 reporting the EPG Version 4 software will be downloaded from next week, this includes the downloading of the "new two-page EPG" (new categories) and the actual reshuffle will take place next month. They've also got an updated EPG renumbering list.

The update will also include the activation of the 4-digit EPG numbers for radio stations - I wonder how long it will take people to get used to the new numbers?

I hope Sky are sending out guides with all the changes in, it's going to take my Grandparents weeks to even notice the change!

I still haven't had any new software at all! Still on the plain blue background to the EPG rather than the clouds!

God knows how my mum and dad will cope - it's just taken them 3 days to install a tv link!
