Well, with a bit tweaking it might be salvagable.
Kinda reminds me of BSkyB's old logo circa 1985.
would be interested to see how this animates on screen.

It's great to see NZ's idents on this site- I envy you having the technology to do do it and look forward to seeing your own NZ ident site eventually showcasing our design talent.
I just wish TVNZ and TV3 would copy the BBC One's website example and have Realplayer versions of all the current idents for the world to see.
And when *will* Sky One get a new look! It's dire!

G'day mate. Sorry I lack the whiz-bang technology to record the idents, but you can see the Sky One logo earlier on in this thread.
The red and yellow One box emerges on screen out of a background of squares that look like those on Sky NZ's website (see http://www.skytv.co.nz ) and the number '1' has a three dimensional look to it, and there is an awful soundtrack that sounds like bad early 90s techno that finishes with a woman's remixed voice saying something that sounds a bit like "supersonic" repeated over and over as the ident closes.
Maybe BBCWorld3 could provide some screen shots for the enlightenment (and horror) of all.
