*update* New Zealand TV Ident Thread

I noticed that. For a brief moment I thought TV3 had changed their weather graphics, as I switched on my tv when the weather was on, and didn't pay any attention to the dog.

Btw, interesting song on Nightline's weather the other night. Very similar to their "The Best Things In Life Are 3" branding a few years back.

I've uploaded some TV3 and TV2 idents. Should I increase the bitrate to get a better quality picture, or leave as is?

Probably best to right click, and save target as. (Click on the wee real media logo).

What about uploading some of the previous and current One News?? Ive been wanting some for a while, I actually found the previous look Late Edition and 6pm news, its great!......Anyway it would be good if you could

Haven't actually finished on doing the front page yet (you weren't supposed to see that. )

I don't seem to have much in the way of past news bulletins. I'll dig around though, I might have something. Any idea when those idents I've posted are from?

Apparently Bill Ralston has begun 'auditions' to replace Judy Baileyon the 6pm news. It is being tipped that she won't have her contract renewed at the end of this year.

Kate Hawkesby, Bernadine Oliver-Kerby and Wendy Petrie are the probable contenders to take over with Petrie the favourite.

All 3 have been having auditions hosting the news while Judy Bailey has been away, with Ralston critiquing their performance and monitoring ratings.

The search for a male newsreader has also begun, fuelling thoughts that One may return to a dual headed format. Simon Dallow is seen to be the main contender to be the male, with Paul Henry the dark horse.--

I'd like to see Kate Hawkesby and Paul Henry host. That would be quite good I think.
