I think the aston change will come in October this year (15 month intervals), the astons are so poor at the moment its not funny.

I think the One News astons are quite nice - a hell of a lot better than the mess 3 News puts up on viewers' screens...


Don't know when you last saw TV3's but they are way more professional since their news relaunched March this year,

I've seen them on the TV3 Newsweek programme on Sky News, and they look shocking... It's like they've just taken a cap from the titles and turned them into a strap on screen to stick text over.


Umm I'd say thats what they've done! and I no longer like tv3 news anymore!

Paul Holmes has changed its on air look, the studio is brigihter as are the graphics and the show is now called 'Holmes'.

The local news had some problems tonight with a studio presenter filling in for the regular newsreader. Right click links, save target as.

Caught the last 15 mins of Holmes last night. very interesting programme I must say! He was reading viewers letters and swearing he even read us a letter when someone was calling him and arse hole, and someone writing in saying he was a Sh** interviewer! and Paul even said he could come in and do an interview himself!

Anyway im liking the updated set, but I dont get why Cambpell Live , and Holmes need a city scape for backdrops!, anyway I think its good!

Paul Holmes is getting more Mike King.

As you said last night he was swearing and taking the piss.

Then tonight he was adding bits into viewers emails (like, told my wife to take body enhancer cause she was too fat, drinking water like a camel) and also said after a story on holiday park thing for dogs, they hadn't seen humans for 10 days while inside, beofre saying he was joking.

More of this stuff and this show could be great.

I see One News Tonight, has followed TV 3's nightline when presenting us with the weather!... by playing us some boring music!.... Kate was also solo... is this permanent?
