Tv one updates it weather graphics but only modfying it a little..
The colour is slightly different they have shocking updates of the old symbols now animated and the hovers and flybys are more up to date: look below!!

I hope all this is a lead up to an aston change, cos something needs to be done!

I think the aston change will come in October this year (15 month intervals), the astons are so poor at the moment its not funny.
Big Brother starts 12 Noon next Monday the 6th.
Cameron Bennett is apparently the host of Tonight this week (may be permanent) Bryan Seymour has been filling in for 3 weeks now, Eric Young still on 'stree leave'.

I think the One News astons are quite nice - a hell of a lot better than the mess 3 News puts up on viewers' screens...
Don't know when you last saw TV3's but they are way more professional since their news relaunched March this year,

News presenter Eric Young's job with TVNZ late night news show Tonight has ended.
TVNZ head of current affair Bill Ralston confirmed Young's contract was terminated on Tuesday.
Cameron Bennett will fill-in with Kate Hawkesby for two weeks while a decision was made on a permanent replacement.
Young went on leave after presenting the show on May 10.

I've seen them on the TV3 Newsweek programme on Sky News, and they look shocking... It's like they've just taken a cap from the titles and turned them into a strap on screen to stick text over.

Well, that's a shame... I quite liked One News Tonight when I was over in NZ earlier this year. It's a great bulletin - it has a energetic, dynamic feel to it, and Eric and Kate made a good team - although I was perplexed how a one hour flagship bulletin at 6 was single anchored, while a half hour late night bulletin was dual headed.
