So we know that BBC 1 and UTV are going at 2330, the question arises though about 4 and 5, Their network schedule IF BBC 1/UTV are to be truely last means a 2255 closedown for both, unless the chop isn't going to be mid programme.
Incidentally the Irish analogue switchoff is at 1000 tomorrow morning.

4 and 5 will go at the whim of Arqiva AIUI, nothing will be contributed or aknowleged from the channels themselves I'm told.
They are due to go at around 23:30, but may well turn out to be last analogue services to go. Of course C5 comes from Black Mountain, not Divis, so someone has to nip over there to switch it off.
I think Burnhope C5 was the last NE channel to vanish, as was Croydon C5 on London's DSO night.
UPDATE: UTV 23:34, followed by C4 soon after, followed by C5 at 00:01 (As I understand it)

And according to a Tweet by staff reporter Pauric Louge, RTÉ One are marking the moment with a News Special presented by Bryan Dobson, starting at 0955.

Is anyone going to watch this Magic Box thing being broadcast on both UTV and BBC 1 NI at 10.35pm? How will they fit the commercials in on UTV? Or will they not have any at all?
