They are really quite nice! Smile Definitely different than any other channels Smile

Yep, although the cartoon style does remind me of the current Five look, especially the billboard adverts that they used to launch it.

It's what Five should have done with their new look rather than the odd idents they have now

It seems a bit 'cheap flash animation'

Also seems to fit the internet phrase "O Rly? Ya Rly." rather well.

I spy some new dogs on all the UKTV Channels.
(Well I'm on freeview so that's Dave and Yesterday)

Have the logo off the website selection thingy at uktv.co.uk

I see they abuse safe areas, presuming everyone has a 16:9 set.

Tiny but I think the black needs to be toned down a bit more, on the downside....

About bloody time these DOGs were placed outside of the safe area imo, it looks ridiculous on a 16:9 set when they're placed top centre of the screen. And I doubt 4:3 viewers will miss them. Rolling Eyes

Would those who claimed UKTV weren't trying to use circles as a linking device like to retract their statements? Wink

Yes, they look much better placed. The previous Dave DOG in particular was way too far from the edge of the screen.

Incidentally, anyone got any caps of Good Food's launch yet?

I don't use full frame I use this semi-full/wide zoom setting.

One with two very very thin black bars at the bottom (Same thickness as the black bars at the bottom of terrestrial)

The dog looks half off the screen, so a few channels are now 'ave' 'sterday' 'ore' 'ky 3'

But really I'm whinging on about nothing.
