I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds this annoying. When I was watching Last of the Summer Wine tonight they started promoting the next programme during the final lines before the end credits had even started rolling

I must say, this whole "made for the BBC and chosen by #channel name#" business is REALLY getting on my nerves now. Why on Earth do they insist their announcers say it? Some sort of contractual obligation? Surely viewers either know the programme was a BBC one in the first place or simply don't care. I notice there are even now backannos and on screen captions during end credits also using this tedious line...
