Not too sure where to post this but I notice the ad for JML's toaster bag things seems to use the music used on UK Gold up until the recent relaunch. I take it this is library music, then?
Watch has got new idents and a new DOG today, it's the same logo still, but focusing more on the Eye, which still dominates the DOG. Hopefully they've removed the old BBC One looking idents.

I thought it was Eden with the BBC1 looking idents?

I noticed this to. All that controversy over the price tag of the relaunch of UKTV Gold was well deserved if they didn't even compose their own music! The music is terrible though as was the 'Spacehoppers' idents.
I do not like these new names for the UKTV channels, I struggle to find Gee Ol Ell Dee on the Electronic Programme Guide (especially now the higher powers have forced me to get 'Virgin'). I had just started to watch the more obscure UKTV channels before they were rebranded and rather liked them, now I actually cannot find them on the EPG anymore.
It will be a sad day when UKTV Food gets a new name.

It only moved up 2 places, and it's even easier to find on Virgin as it's grouped with Watch and Dave and the _1s... I struggle to find any of them on Sky where they're spread across the 100's

Why? they haven't moved! If you'll really too stupid to find them there's always the favourites function!
I must say, this whole "made for the BBC and chosen by #channel name#" business is REALLY getting on my nerves now. Why on Earth do they insist their announcers say it? Some sort of contractual obligation? Surely viewers either know the programme was a BBC one in the first place or simply don't care. I notice there are even now backannos and on screen captions during end credits also using this tedious line...
The replacement for UKTV Style and UKTV Gardens - 'Home' is now being trailed. The full version is quite nice, based around the names of some of their programmes. Not sure about the logo though not keen on the font... and it doesn't have a circle!
