Not on earth sure what's going on with the Blighty ident there. I like the idea of having a sung ident, which is especially nice with the trend to get all serious with idents, but it's as if Weebl made an ident!
I praise the effort they've but into the titles, but personally, I still think it's the worst branding I've ever seen for a channel. The name sounds like a Dead Ringers p!ss-take on continuity.
I actually quite like it. It's a bit different, and I think will help the channel stand out. It makes a change from the current lazy trend for getting some arty, bland images and slapping a logo over them (Five USA anyone?).
It's just a shame UKTV aren't putting as much thought into their content as they currently are into their branding.

Ture, the current UKTV People idents are the worst example of this - they just slapped part of their old ident on top of some random pictures
And yes, it is as vomit-enducingly appalling as you imagined it would be.
I feel like I'm watching The Tweenies or something.
They may as well have just called it "The Sun" and had an ident featuring a bulldog, a bald man with a vest and handkerchief on his head, eating a bacon butty on a deckchair and half naked women in the background.

You're not that keen on it then?
I quite like it, it's certainly different and nothing like anything else. I disagree about the Sun comparison, it's far more colourful, progresive and modern than anything they would come up with. It's certainly not portraying an old fashioned view of Britain
