There was a 'UKTV People +1' for a while, but they ditched it to allow 'UKTV Drama +1' to start.

Looks like the trailers for UKTV History's change to 'Yesterday' which launches 2nd March are now showing.

With them completing entertainment and nearly completing documentary channels, are there plans to rebrand the lifestyle channels?

You would think that would be the plan. They could just remove the UKTV prefix from Style, Food and Gardens and still have three recognisable brands. Of course it's silly to think they won't go for silly names so expect such marketing classics as Coleen, Titchmarsh and Nosh/Grub/F.O.O.D.

If there's an ounce of sensibility left at UKTV HQ they won't mess about with the Style name. I would assume it is one of the most well known UKTV brands, certainly more so than 'People' or 'Documentary'. Plus it's been around since 1997 so it would be shame to see it consigned to the scrapheap.

UKTV Style wouldn't be able to drop the prefix as there is already a Style Channel. I imagine they will go for something like Seen or Look as a channel name. UKTV Food could easily drop the prefix as could UKTV Gardens.

UKTV will probably decide on the names for the remaining channels once UKTV History is rebranded to Yesterday.

So there is, must admit I don't venture into that part of the EPG much so I'll plead ignorance Razz.

Confirmation of UKTV Style and the rest of them getting a rebrand soon:

The final wave of the network’s ambitious rebrand to create a portfolio of multiplatform brands will be completed in Q2 2009 with the re-launch of its lifestyle offerings.
