Well sorry, but I can't be bothered to read through 31 pages of thread. Having experienced the new look UKTV channels today after a week away, I am staggered at how crappy G.O.L.D. now looks. The channel used to have very high presentation standards and I even quite liked the gold space hopper idents but this cartoon stuff just doesn't do it for me at all. And the DOG is simply apalling.

It says Under Construction at the top - "official opening party Oct 26th 2008".

Maybe to celebrate they could move their DOG somewhere vaguely near the top of the screen.
