My understanding is that when it reaches the last episode that was shown on BBC One, then that will be the last episode to be shown on UKTV, and considering they're on 2007 now and they show 2 episodes a day, I can't imagine it having a long run left, so there'd be no point for having it on Watch for a few weeks, may aswell let it run its course on Gold.
I noticed on Gold this morning the announcer saying 'Made for the BBC' when introducing Sorry!

Unless we're supposed to laugh at Neighbours in an ironic way, I can see no reason why it should be on GOLD.

It still makes more sense to play it on Watch then a comedy channel!

I agree with you, but I guess it's just continuity for Gold viewers, but as I said rather than mess up Watch's schedule, let Neighbours run its course on Gold, which I can think won't be for much longer and let Watch have it's own morning schedule.
If Neighbours on Gold was 6 years behind the BBC like it used to be, then I guess they'd have moved it to Watch, but clearly UKTV have wanted out of Neighbours reruns for years, as they've been binned off to 6.00am for sometime now and the fact they've upped it to two episodes shows they want to end it sooner rather than later, just pleasing Neighbours fans I guess.

I think it could go on Watch all it's just the UK Gold +1 channel number but with a different channel on it so it would still be found.
And I've noticed they're saying and showing captions saying 'made by the BBC, shown by..' and it seems all of the channels are doing it.

I saw the end of Dr Who on Watch earlier and noticed the caption nipping on screen where the DOG would go. I think it would be silly to think that viewer's aren't aware that UKTV et al are all BBC reruns. Although I'm interested to know what happens when they show The Bill I doubt they're enthusiastically going to say made by ITV/Thames, selected for Watch.
They've also run a caption at the bottom of the screen that says Gold has moved channels aswell, but I saw that a minute into Dr Who, so it must be at the beginning of programmes.

Neighbours has been with UK Gold since 1992, it would be unfair to pack it off to Watch for its final 5 weeks, before they reach the end of the BBC series. (episode 5330)
Neighbours does of course have its funny moments anyway.

That set is an assault on my senses!!!
All I can make out is the ampersand and that's it. Yikes that is horrific!!
I remember UK TV was a partnership with the BBC and Thames, and it'd be good to have some Thames shows on the channel. The thing is though Thames comedies like Bless This House are on Paramount and I don't know who is showing their dramas.

It varies really, Granada Plus showed alot of them at one point, although you do see alot of Thames/Euston Films programmes on ITV3 and ITV4 these days.
It's a shame Thames/Fremantle Media never set up a Thames archive channel, they have alot of archive that people would enjoy. But I think it's a good nod to Thames' production values that their sitcoms and Dramas are still being repeated, and the latter being shown by ITV is a credit to them.

To this day I can't see how Thames lost their franchise!!
Actually thinking about it I'm sure I watched The Naked Civil ervant recently on BBC4. It'd be good to see Widows, Rock Follies and Edward & Mrs Simpson again along with The Kenny Everett Video Show.

We need some pics, I must see this, horrific set.
Also, watch's idents are basically the Snowball BBC one Christmas ident with a eye and no snow.
Gold's ident is rather nice though.
