Have listings been announced yet for the channels?

And it's hardly a major thing, but for the 7 people who get a couple hours a day of UKTV Gold on Top Up TV, will they continue to get Gold, or will it be replaced with Watch, which appears to be UKTV's new flagship channel.

Here's the videos of the adverts anyway:

Alibi
Watch
G-O-L-D

Interestingly they pronounce the channel name G - O - L - D as opposed to just Gold.

I wonder if it's to do with the fact there is already a network of radio stations acroos the country branded as 'Gold'.

Alibi and Watch look great. I only ever watch UKTV Drama for the crime programmes like 'Waking the Dead' or 'Silent Witness', so it suits me fine that they are restricting themselves to that genre. The line-up on Watch seems interesting.

G.O.L.D. looks uninspiring. I wonder how long they'll keep calling it G.O.L.D. on screen before they realise everyone else in the country is still calling it UK Gold. Wink

Surely renaming it UK Gold would have been better than G.O.L.D. Rolling Eyes
They're airing teleshopping from 3am for the first time and Neighbours remains with the channel until November.

I keep thinking the G-O-L-D logo is based on a logo from a margarine pot. I also very much doubt that anybody will actually pronounce it as that, alot of people would still call it UK Gold, probably.

"They're showing B-L-A-C-K-A-D-D-E-R on G-O-L-D. W-A-T-C-H* it."

*No pun intended

Listings for UKTV Gold (aka G.O.L.D.) are now available on Radio Times' website for 7th October onwards.

To be honest, the programmes look exactly the same to me.

The website for G.O.L.D. still says to come back on the 27th for a sneak preview (ie. yesterday).
