According to a post on DS, continuity announcers on the UKTV channels are asking people to check social media tomorrow at 12pm for a special announcement from UKTV. Wonder what's happening?
Curious
I'll be making a big announcement at midday. Watch this space.

I guess this isn't the most relevant thread, but there isn't another one to post this in, watching The Bill on UKTV Play we're into mid-April 1990 before we get an episode with a 1990 copyright date, which seems suprisingly late. I'm presuming there was a break in production during the move to Merton, and they ramped up production towards the back end of 1989 to make up for it.
Also noticed whenever we see a calendar on the wall, they're always consistently 2 months behind when the episode aired (so in these episodes from April 1990, the calendars are on February 1990). I had wondered if the calendars showed when the episodes were filmed, but seeing as we've had 1990 calendars in episodes with a 1989 copyright, that's presumably not the case.
There still does seem to be inconsistencies over shows using the filming date or broadcast date for the copyright message. Can't think what it was but saw something new last week which had a 2019 copyright.
It's a similar to the BT Sport Classics reruns of The Big Match.
Seems the edits (no matter how minor or major) end up getting a new copyright date on the endcap.
Those had the original tx year of transmission on LWT, the ITV Sport endcap from the original first re-run on ITV4, and then the BT Sport copyright date when they first broadcast it.
