Has this been brought up already?
Analouge South East BBC One did not have an opt-out on the Ten tonight, and the regional headlines were from UK Today. Is there a technical problem with NSE at the moment? Is this going to happen more often?

Can anyone help?

Seems like it was just a one-off mistake - NSE went ahead as usual at 10.25

Thats happened to us in the North West a few times. Once we even got UK Today at 1025 followed swiftly by North West Tonight, with a baffled looking Martin Henfield!

Once at 6:30 here in the Midlands we got an announcement saying 'I'm but we can't bring you your regional programme, instead news from around the UK Today'

Martine Croxall then read 2 headlines before swiftly joining Midlands Today for the last headlines and the presenters didn't even have a clue! Smile

Sometimes regions fail to opt out quick enough.

Surprising if you were to know how loudly the producer in London shouts 'OPT-OUT, OPT-OUT'!!

Oh, how we laugh!! Smile

On a more serious note (!), do you think the national gallery feed goes straight through to the presenter or is passed on by a regional director?

When I was in Plymouth I got both national director and local director in my ear during the Breakfast opts - but you could turn the national one down. The same applies for the UK Today brekkie bulls - both the national director and the one in News 24.
