Has anyone else noticed UKTV have finally seen sense and removed the high-pitched squeaking firework breakbumper, replacing the sounds with a wobbly-sounding firework? Much better - less deafening!

Thank goodness - I was frightened half to death when I first heard it! The next time, I braced myself and they appeared to have forgotton to use it. I relaxed, and then it follows the first trailer!!

And do you know why they've changed it? UK Gold text (p261) has a letter from a woman complaining about the fact it terrifies her dog every time it comes on!!

Lol! It was quite scary! Espescially when you have vibrating speakers like mine which squeak whenever the sound goes above a certain Hz!

Perhaps we have a UKTV insider here - I seem to remeber a couple of people complaining about it just after the new-look
