Any ideas whats going on?

DSAT taking London News instead of UK Today, with an apology to that effect that the start.

And how come the regional slot is 15 minutes long this week? Is this going to be permanent now that the latest series of Points of View has finished?

The regional opt today (Sunday) was much longer to accommodate a regional Children In Need update.

I imagine that UK Today were unable to do this, as they were not involved in CiN in the same way as the other regions, so a decision was taken to take BBC London to network (and thus DSat England) instead.

Nope, it was 'Lifeline' which wasn't shown tonight, which usually lasts for 10 minutes before the main news.
