As has been said above this is all a hoax.

The biggest giveaway apart from the content is that the format of the email address is wrong for a government department.

What email address? What government department?

I liked this page with the evidence...

yeah that had me laughing. I would say that his whole site is a hoax/windup but I've seen enough on the Internet to know that things can often be true (i.e he does actually believe it, not that his claims are true! )

Not to mention why someone from inside security services would write about it in the first place!

It's not a hoax, the man who writes/posts these things is very real! There's 10 years worth of Usenet posts and discussion, far too much for a casual hoax

The spoofed email address appears at the foot of his posts.

Surprised If that is real that i feel quite sorry for him.

He even has audio clips of things that were said about him when he is out and about (well so he thinks). Surely he can't record everything whenever he goes out?

He probably does given the extremity of his paranoia. It is indeed a terrible shame, and a waste of a life.

I do hope he finds some peace.

When Snow said "half-past seven", I looked at the clock on the mantelpiece above the TV. Snow saw my glance, and in reaction to my glance at the clock, smiled. I think he was smiling at what he perceived as my self-importance.

At this time I was watching television almost continuously at home, with a video recorder whirring away, trying to obtain from the newscasters a reaction which would give them away. I think this is an instance where it happened. Ken Clarke first darts a glance straight at the video camera (and perhaps at a monitor next to it showing my living room), then comes out with "all kinds of mad things", while engaging in a facial display involving raising of eyebrows and lowering of eyelids. To me at the time, and also now, it looked as if he was selecting a context into which he could drop the word "mad" as a directed insult against me.

Not as much as:

Aeverine Frathleen Nieves, and Her "talking" dog. She's dead Serious.

And her/his site

MI5 and her are equally crazy I think.

Rather than finding it funny, I think it's actually incredibly sad.

We had a very similar case at a radio station I used to work for, where a listener would phone up and complain we were targeting him and somehow defaming him through both speech and messages in songs we were playing out.

In the same way, this guy was deadly serious about it. He even fabricated solicitors' letters and sent them to the station threatening legal action.

On one occasion, he came to reception and started complaining. He looked perfectly normal and sane. It was only from what he said that made you realise he was suffering some kind of paranoid schizophrenia.

The worst thing is as well that as far as they're concerned, it's totally real and not part of some kind of mental illness, and so they're unlikely to be able to receive any help unless they have a complete breakdown and get sectioned.

I second what you say, it is somewhat upsetting to see or read about people in such a state, and whoever has made the website claiming that MI5 is targeting him is obviously metally disturbed in such a way (or is on-purposely doing it for kicks and is taking it way too far).

This is quite interesting.

I myself can't pass judgement on this as I've only quickly visited the website, but it seems to me to be a case of the poor man/woman having a mental deficiency or a case of prolonged self-deception.
