Should they put UK Gold on Freeview

The reason I ask is on Freeview we get UK History & UK Bright Idea, & I know the second one is a calabiration of several, but UK History isn't.

Economics.

UKTV have decided that the money they would lose in subscription from Sky/Cable, the amount they'd have to pay to buy a Freeview slot, and the amount they'd bring in in extra advertising revenue don't make it financially viable at the moment?

I'd love UKTV Gold to come to Freeview. Last time I watched UKTV Gold was on my Nan's Amstrad Astra box about 10 years ago! Shows like Doctor Who and The Dawson Watch. Not to mention classics as Neighbours and EastEnders.

I say bring the Gold Bar to Freeview!

...Its not the gold bar anymore is it?

With UK Drama showing really old programmes right now in their hours, They MUST have that channel on Freeview. UK Gold should as well even so they show endless runs of Only Fools and Horses and other recent comedy in the evenings but Neighbours (on before Breakfast these days) and EastEnders are still on the channel.
