UKTV have decided that the money they would lose in subscription from Sky/Cable, the amount they'd have to pay to buy a Freeview slot, and the amount they'd bring in in extra advertising revenue don't make it financially viable at the moment?

The reason I ask is on Freeview we get UK History & UK Bright Idea, & I know the second one is a calabiration of several, but UK History isn't.
