Aw and I suppose beauty is only skin deep and all that? In real life, she looks fairly average, and I agree, in the show she's not exactly 'ugly.'
It's been bothering me all day, but I am sure there was a song in Ugly Betty on Friday which went something like ''she was all for the money'' or something and it sounded really 80's like, not the one by Prince. It was really catchy and I can't find the song name, nor remember any other parts of the song.

I thought the first episode was very good, and I'm looking forward to episode 2 on wednesday at 9 on E4.

Anyone know if this show will be on DVD sometime this year?? I dont think its even out in the USA yet.

Maybe once channel 4 have shown all the episodes it will be released the monday after its finished in TV? Any ideas?

Reminds me of Plain Jane Superbrain in Neighbours . The actress who played her was actually good looking; she just wore unflattering glasses and no make-up to give the illusion that her screen character was plain.

Oddly enough (IIRC) didn't the character become a model after they remove the glasses and trowelled on some make-up? Confused

Everyone says the first three episodes are bad compared to the next 15... I dont agree I like seeing women pulling their hair out

Episode 1 was fab last Friday, but Episode 2 last night on E4 was good, but not as good as the opening ep.

I'm sure it will pick up, I just don’t get how Gina got into Betty’s house at night for the book, did she have a key or something as she did not break a window or kick the door in???

Also, Who stole the bunny? Was it that nasty Amanda who wants betty’s job?
