Loving ITV's backdrop. I suspect the BBC didn't have an anchor studio because they didn't think they'd get any landmarks like Table Mountain or Brandenburg Gate as the backdrop but ITV have proved that an amazing backdrop can be created. However, Im not a fan of ITV's chairs. As Robbie Savage put it - why are they sitting on shreddies!

It's like realised at a late stage the chairs were too big, which is why they have cushions wedging them up.

Anyone know who the host broadcaster is? Do UEFA have an equivalent to FIFA's HBS doing it?

It seems so.

BBC iPlayer is allowing viewers to view games with 5 Live commentary and ITV Player has the BBC game in it's entirety.

When the players are walking on is that the theme tune to Frozen Planet?

The music used in that video is the same theme music that was used for UEFA Euro 2008 - wonder if that means that it'll be used again in Euro 2012?

Perhaps that's just what they had to work with at that stage?

You're right, the music has been replaced on the final titles. I see the BBC are using the official titles in the same way they did last time around.

RTÉ are doing no more or no less than what was expected: the official titles and graphics are being used to a T, and its the usual RTÉ football team (who seem to have been in place for what seems like a billion years, although I think its actually since World Cup 1986) on air, in the usual set.

Not available yet, but the iPlayer is promising a 'High Level Camera' version too.

The BBC Sport logo in front the desk seems to have been removed for some reason.

Seems to be back now - looks like one of the virtual graphics to me, so perhaps that explains it...

Looks there to me at half time but then I don't think it's really 'there' is it? Wink

Definitely think ITV have got the edge over the studios - always love a set that's basically just a nice local view. Odd chairs though! Not sure I'd agree about having it always pitch side, it seems like you can never have proper analysis when your battling the crowd noise.

Enjoying the augmented 3D cleverness on the BBC though, not too OTT. The pull out showing their England XI bit by bit last night was nice. Seems smoother than I remember seeing on MOTD earlier in the season.

Titles pretty much on a par for me - maybe ITVs nudge it because theirs are a little creepier.

It must be virtual, I'm guessing it's just a green board? You can see the things holding it up.

Any technical reason why they wouldn't use a physical sign?
