Dimbledancing. How funny!

BBC World News is being rather sparse in it's coverage of the championships thus far, preferring to focus on the political issues surrounding the championships. However, they've just trailed a special edition of World Final Score tomorrow with Dan Walker, which I presume, will come from the BBC's onsite HQ?

Sport Today just starting now.............let's see!

There's a Dimblebot website? Lol. Is this a meme used on sites other than TVF/Metropol?

Was it not branded 'World Football Focus' the BBC seems to have a balcony in Warsaw. But no actual studio out there.

Possibly World Football Focus.

I've just seen a foto of said balcony, with Gabby Logan perched on the parapet.

Waiting to actually hear some news of the opening match at E2012, but for some reason, the current edition of Sport Today playing out is as "Recorded" edition and is carrying the "recorded" slug. So, the news they played is old news, nothing about the ongoing matches at all!

There's even an event every month in London which includes "Competative Dimledancing": http://www.guardian.co.uk/tv-and-radio/2012/may/31/dimble-dancing-bbc-question-time

But we're drifting away from the topic slightly...

Not sure I like the "fake" elements of the BBC Sport Studio they just used.

I quite like the use of 3D studio graphics today. It felt a bit gimmicky on Match of the Day, but they seem to have executed them in a much classier manor this time.

I've got a feeling ITV's coverage is going to win a lot more critical acclaim, on this forum at least.

EDIT: Well they've certainly got better titles, remind me a bit of the BBC's 2008 effort.

I like animation but that was a terrible start to ITV Euro 2012!

The ITV graphics are brash and possibly american, but there is something I quite like about them.
