A couple of minor scheduling peculiarities...

Next week's Casualty will be on Fri 8 June instead of the usual Saturday. There isn't one the week after.

On Sun 10 June the BBC's Euro 2012 highlights are on BBC Two as there are F1 highlights on BBC 1 22:30-00:30.

On Wed 13 June BBC 1 Scotland is showing the Olympic Torch Relay at 19:00 therefore will miss the build-up to Netherlands v Germany match. Why the torch relay could not be on BBC 2 Scotland in place of a repeat of Antiques Road Trip, I don't know.

On Thu 14 June, This Week will be on BBC 2 following Newsnight, because of Euro 2012 highlights on BBC 1. This means it will start 15 minutes before Question Time ends on BBC 1.

Where there are two matches being played at a time, if they are BBC matches then one will be on BBC 1 and the other on BBC 3 and BBC HD (with no build-up). When it's ITV it'll be ITV 1 and ITV 4.

Surely they want to think about putting a ten minute filler in there?

I should point out that because of nations political programmes, MOTD doesn't go out until 00:05 in NI and Wales anyway, and This Week is at 00:20 in NI after The Nolan Show.

Better, would have been to keep This Week on BBC One and put MOTD after Newsnight on BBC Two.

As people should know, watching This Week is not recommended Wink

I've just noticed, Euro 2012: Football Focus Preview airs tonight on BBC One at 10:45 so we may well see if the BBC have altered their graphics in anyway for the tournament.

The Focus team are apparently in Poland for this, so it will be interesting to see if it comes from a studio considering they're doing most of it from Salford and when/if they do go over there, they'll probably be in a studio at the stadiums.

Was that a dig from Gary there that they aren't actually in the countries but are instead in Salford.

The BBC are using the official Euro 2012 graphics in-game but their own yellow graphics in their yellow studio and for commetary name-tagging. This does not seem to match very well. I hope ITV go all purple!

I imagine ITV will have a set taylor made for their coverage. Surprised the gold and black BBC Sport graphics weren't recoloured.

Use of the studio is good, bigger bespoke Euro 2012 desk and screens on the left and the right at a slight angle. Nice lighting change as well.

The replay wipes are probably the best seen in a major tournament for a long while.

The BBC highlights programme seems to be branded Match of the Day at the Euros.
