Are they going to update their Epgs yet?

Emmerdale still showing 730 & it should be 830 now!

(It's the series link for Mother Im worried about!)

I turned it over when it was suspended, there was only so much I could take of Adrian Chiles and his incessant drivel.....

so the match resumes at 6pm... wonder what odds you could get on ITV pres cocking up and playing an ad break at the wrong point?

On a similar note. I was watching on ITV1+1 and at 6:50, before the match started, they took a break. The first advert was blanked out but the first couple of frames were still visible and it appeared to be one of those Ray Winstone adverts with live odds. Since the match hadn't started, what live odds did the advert feature? Could someone check their recording of ITV1?

I saw it go out, it was a generic ad rather than quoting odds

That BBC Sport logo seems to be coming and going as it pleases. I think it must be something to do with the virtual graphics masking it?

So in the wake of the pageant the BBC feel the need to celebrify tonights match with the Moyles commentary on the red button. Wouldn't be an issue if it was audio only - but anyone wanting the 5Live commentary has to endure Moyles in vision in the corner of the screen.

The sting the BBC are using seems to now feature the official logo with elements from the BBC's titles and music.

I wonder if they had to seek permission from UEFA to do this? They may have pointed to ITV who get away with using just a logo.

Because they did it for the World Cup and it was hilarious. Made a good light hearted option, particularly if you don't care too much about the football.

Can understand the 5Live problem though. In the World Cup they did it as audio only so not that issue.

I suspect at most somebody read here someone speculate the titles/stings just had to include the logo, not the official sting, so they decided theirs looks better - which it doesn't IMO.

It's always the same with BBC Sport and their titles - the main portion of the titles are fantastic, but they always seem to have a kind of false start leading into them, and then an extra bit tagged on the end for the logo reveal - and these yellow bars are just looking worse and worse IMO.

How come the interview on the pitch at the end of the match had a Euro 2012 branded mic cover, but all the other pitchside stuff has used BBC Sport branded covers?

What platform was that on? Virgin had Moyles in vision on option 2 although you could choose option 1 which was as BBC One but with the option of switching audio between TV commentary/Moyles/5 Live.

Shame they couldn't just use the audio description facility really, as going through Red Button is not only slow but you lose the HD too.

I guess the new sting is just a bit more subtle than the official one "wakes me up every time" as Lineker once said at the start. The intro bit of the titles with the video screens is just odd - almost like someone didn't have complete confidence in the animated titles.

As stated before one broadcaster (or probably one for each side) is chosen to do pooled pitched interviews after every game.
