So I don't waste space on the forum by starting two separate threads, here they are compacted:

1) Moira Stuart has recieved an OBE!! (Yes!)

and

2) I've just noticed UK Today has started using last week, the other type of Headline Bed, the string version. Previously, it used to use the North West Today one, with just the beat. Hopefully, as this means that North West Today is probably the only region left to use this one, it may adopt the other one shortly like UK Today??

Many regions still use the standard BBC News one.

Midlands Today, East Midlands Today, Look East, Points West and Spotlight still use them!

East Midlands Today make best use of theirs as it is always on beat whereas Look East & Midlands Today have the thunderclap when the picture changes (linked to the output) and Spotlight use a single thunderclap version as does Points West.

Although, I do prefer the harmonized version as its like the national but it sligthly different which is how it should be as the titles and studio are slightly different to the national.
