Two new idents for BBC ONE

Am I the only one then who quite liked the Footballers ident? I know it isn't the best out of the lot but I think the footballs forming a ring going in and out was quite good and different to any of the others which seem quite static. By any means it's a hell of a lot better than the 'Tagged' Idents of BBC2. Now thats what I call total crap.

I don't think it has been shelved though. I can definitely confirm Windows (the other ident missing from the Ident Player menu) has not been rested as it was used before Songs of Praise on network. Unless anyone can confirm otherwise I think Football hasn't been retired, rather there just isn't enough room on the Ident Player menu at the moment.

I am glad to see the back of windows if its gone Very Happy

And i definatley think they should have given us a shot of the earth(globe)in the space ident

Just out of interest which one of the new idents do you prefer? And will you be updating the Channel 4 section soon?

I think the music on Windows is very good and I like Footballers too and at least it actually keeps the circle and you can see the circle clearly, something which really annoys me about the Surfer and Petals idents respectively.

As has been mentioned before no idents have been withdrawn as yet and Windows was used before How We Built Britain at 9pm this evening.

Any idea about when the new BBC2 idents will appear? But well done for being so on the ball with BBC1's idents.

its good new idents have came out,dose anyone have any predictions on when the circles will be replaced and what will replace them

I think people will eventually get bored with circles after a while and i definatley dont think they will last as long as the balloon or rythem and movment idents
