I though Ed only did the incidental music and that Eric Idle had actually sung and written the main theme?

Either way, it has to be said that Ed seems a bit of a legend around these parts.

The only other ITV brand which is still not owned by anyone but is well like would have been TSW:

Isn't the TSW brand now owned by the South West Film and Television Archive (originally called the TSW Film & Television Archive), as it was TSW who set up the TSWFTA after they lost their franchise, in a section of the Derry's Cross studios (although they've since moved elsewhere)

I have the full theme to Blockbusters - although saying that, I don't think its an MP3 file.

is it the KMP version though or the Central mix? The KPM version is easily obtanable, however the Central mix has managed to ellude everyone for years.

The one I have is about 1min 30sec. So I doubt it is actually the full theme but there is a key change near the end. Probably is the KPM version.

No idea what the one the BBC station has, it goes on long enough to run a quiz over it with questions ect.

I didn't take much notice. I guess it won't be the Central version. If the music was clean on Gameshow Marathon, then Granada must have it. If not, its been lost long ago.

And yes, that has happened to some Central music.

Actually, Central had a record company called Rainbow Music - maybe all their themes were done via that.

Yeah I'll be getting a separate domain set up soon most probably, It will take a little while to get the pages together but I hope to get something on there in the near-ish future.

As for the music - it was a random track I 'borrowed' from the Private Parts, Happy Flute I think it's called.

Well this is very old news isn't it. The TVS DVD about ATV Centre has been discussed for a long time on various locations, including Tiswas Online, the ATV Website and Crossroads Appreciation Society.

I'm sure we'll be seeing a few TVS programmes in the future. As for it being in the North. Tyne Tees currently airs from London - as do most of the "regions."

'Old' it may be, but we don't all worship at the ATV table! As for Tyne Tees, it is broadcast from Leeds (as is YTV, Central, Granada, Border and STV on occassions).

When does STV come out of Leeds? Wondered if they were going to invest in new pres area in their new building
