Just in case you didn't know (I didn't) TVS has been reborn as TVS Television Limited and appears to be a small production company based in Leeds. The logo etc. are all being reused and have been copyrighted. Check out the website at http://tvstelevision.co.uk
Depending their reputation upon using an old name and reputation of someone else, and with a website which is the pits? Looks like a great start to me... Am I the only one to think it's usually a better idea to get the company together rather than just the name?

They appear to be a one man and woman band but already have good contracts with the BBC and with YTV for Calendar. The name is always a subjective issue, but as it use to be owned by Flextech, I guess they have no need for it.
As I suspected, they got the inspiration from the renaissance of TV-am - and the new copyright holder of TVS Television is a friend of the present copyright holder of TV-am.
I wonder if they'll do any projects with Fred Dinenage?
I'm not sure what Keith plans to do with the website on the whole but I have been in touch with him about the possibility of getting some nostalgic content onto the website (I used to have a website all about TVS once upon a time) - right now though I am trying to work out how that could work without making it seem like one company taking credit for another's work.

Another interesting(?) link is that the copywright holder of TV-AM (Ian White) works on Look North, as did Khalid Aziz, before fronting "Coast to Coast", the news prog on TVS.
